1) When you want to brush you schnauzer’s hair and dead skin, make sure that your dog is sitting on a towel.
2)You should place a rubber mat at the bottom of your bathtub. This way you’ll prevent your dog from getting an injury because of slipping.
3) Try to carefully place your schnauzer in your bathtub, when this has been done you should make the fur of your dog wet. However, try to avoid the eyes and the ears. Especially when you are applying the shampoo.
4) Another good schnauzer grooming tip is to try to swipe with a damp cotton ball across the eyes of your schnauzer. This way, you will be able to remove any dirt from the corners of the eyes.
5) Once your dog is clean, drain the tub and place your dog on a towel that has been put on the floor already. After your dog is sitting on the towel, grab a large towel so you can dry your dog.
6) When clipping the nails, make sure you use special dog nail clippers. This way you’ll be able to cut an angle before the curve in the nail easier.
7) This is probably the hardest part of the schnauzer grooming process. Brushing the teeth of your dog. When doing this you should gently open your dog’s mouth and then, while you use a special dog toothbrush, you clean your dog’s teeth.
